Optus Zoo Portal Launches Java Games

VANCOUVER, B.C. - October 2003 - airG , the most innovative supplier of advanced multiplayer mobile entertainment products announced today an agreement with Optus Australia to provide its Optus Zoo Portal with an assortment of compelling Java games.

"airG 's extensive experience and proven track record in the development of Java games is key to creating an attractive mobile data offering and bringing these fun new entertainment services to Optus Zoo," said Frederick Ghahramani, Director. "airG is looking forward to building a relationship with Optus Australia and growing the scope of Java games it can offer to its current customers, use to acquire new customers and increase ARPU (average revenue per user)."

Java refers to enhanced games that can be updated frequently, downloaded over the air and stored locally in the handset to use wherever, whenever. It brings true gaming look and feel to the mobile phone, with full colour, motion and rich story lines, and is the first true representation of early console style gaming on the mobile handset.

Ghahramani adds, "tempting applications that are easy to use and attractively priced create critical mass and new revenue opportunities for mobile operators."

Optus Zoo is a one stop shop for mobile entertainment services.
